If you are aimed at 119 or 110 you will be able to get over 600 channels! You can also use the dongle to create a home network between the internet and your receiver and TV. So you can view photos or play music over the network and get music from any PC in the house to play over the speaker system.
If you have a Sonicview 4000, Sonicview 1000, or Sonicview 1000 PVR you can still get channels with this receiver. You can employ the CHIRP Method. This is by manually adding, and renaming of transponders. You can view only around 20 channels at this time, including the Cartoon Network, ABC, NBC, FOX and more, including Childerns programming.
